What type of information do we collect?


We only collect a minimal amount of personal information. 


1. Enquiry form 

Information collected on the enquiry forms on our website will be used to answer your enquiry and provide further assistance and information needed to meet and follow up your request. This includes Identity Data such as first name, maiden name, date of birth and gender, and Contact Data such as email address and telephone number. 

You will always have the option to opt out of receiving any future emails every time you receive a communication from us by contacting us at info@cherwelleducation.com.


2. Required documents during application 

As an education provider we are required to check and keep a copy of each students’ passport details and a photocopy of each passport. All personal information and photocopies are stored on our company database which is accessible only by full time Cherwell Education staff. All passport information and photocopies are removed from this database within two months of your course departure date. 


How we get the information and why we do we have it 


We collect data from you through direct interactions. You may give us your Identity and Contact Data by filling in forms or by corresponding with us by phone, email, post or otherwise. This includes personal data you provide when you apply for a place on one of our programmes or give us feedback or contact us. 


Why do we have to have it? 


  • To register you as a new customer and for the performance of a contract with you 
  • To process your order application, manage payments, fees and charges and to collect and recover money owed to us 
  • To manage our relationship with you which will include – notifying you about any changes to our terms or privacy policy 
  • To make suggestions and recommendations to you about service that may be of interest to you

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances: 

  • Where we need to perform the contract we are about to enter into or have entered into with you

We use a variety of suppliers to provide additional support for the running of the business and services to clients. Emailing systems and accounting are some of the 3rd party support platforms we use.
